Privacy Policy

Your privacy is respected at Judy Courtin Legal and we are committed to protecting your personal information. Our privacy policy sets out our obligations in managing the personal information of our clients, potential clients and others with whom we have dealings in the course of our business and is based on the Australian Privacy Principles by which we are bound and which are contained in the Privacy Act 1988(Cth).

The Privacy Act regulates the handling of personal information about individuals. This includes the collection, use, storage and disclosure of personal information and access to and correction of that information.

We collect and record personal information by way of phone calls, interviews, emails and medical and other reports and records.  We hold all personal information in secure and confidential files which are usually in hard copy and electronic form. Personal information may also be stored through third party data storage providers.

We will only provide personal information to a third party with your express authority. You have the right to access and request the correction of your personal information pursuant to the Australian Privacy Principles.
